Razo 31 March, 1926 - - 16 November, 2020 On Monday, November 16, 2020, Harriet E. Razo, a loving mother of four children, passed away at the age of 94. Harriet was born in Dublin, Ireland, on March 31, 1926, to a large Irish Catholic family. She met her husband, Saul Razo, in London, England, and married on July 18, 1947. Saul and Harriet had four children; three girls and one boy. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband Saul and her oldest daughter Linda. Harriet’s lifeblood was her family; she cared for and supported them her entire life. She was a mother who by example, taught her children to enjoy life. She was easy to sing her favorite Irish Songs or tell you one of her fond poems. Harriet was the life of any gathering; she entertained family and friends with Irish tunes she had learned growing up. She loved to dance to her favorite music, or just about any music for that matter. Harriet was well known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her compassionate spirit. Harriet consistently guided and supported her children as they continued to grow and was known for her great holiday meals. Harriet loved real estate and became a real estate agent later in life, going through classes and taking the rigorous California real estate exam. She was also an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was actively involved in supporting several community projects. She volunteered her time at the Vacaville Community Performing Arts Center. Her favorite pass time for many years was golfing, and socializing. Harriet is survived by her three children, Shelley Razo, David Razo, and Deborah Razo-Rodman, and their families. She has a total of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by three sisters; Winnie, Maureen, and Bernadette, and three brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law; along with a multitude of nieces and nephews. The family is planning a small graveside ceremony on December 18, 2020, at xx.xx PT with a “Celebration of Life” to follow on December 19 at XX:XX PT. Both events will be recorded and broadcast over Zoom for all to see. In lieu of flowers a charitable contribution to either Beta Sigma Phi, or NAMI, (National Association of Mental Illness) can be made on line or on their Facebook page.
