Linda Sue Brooks

February 8, 1949 - June 28, 2020

Linda Sue Brooks age 71, born to Don and Mary Haugen ,passed away on June 28,2020 after battling a long illness. She is proceeded in death by her parents Don and Mary Haugen, her brother Don Haugen, her husband of 26 years David Brooks Sr. and her son Steven Brooks. She is survived by her son David Brooks his wife Pam Brooks, granddaughters Catie Brooks California, Tiffani Biegler and her husband Jackson Biegler and great granddaughter Emilia Biegler of California. Her siblings Carol Kight of Oregon , John Haugen of Washington and Debbie Haugen of California. Her nephew Brian Randle of California nieces Angela Randle (Barber) Louisiana, Ashley Randle California, Leilani Randle California. Her Nephews Michael Haugen Oregon, John Travis Haugen Washington, Brandon Haugen Washington Garrett Haugen Washington and James Hoover Idaho. Her nieces Beverly Haugen Idaho and Amber Haugen Washington. Linda has many other nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews. Linda met her husband of 26 years in Hawaii where she lived with her parents and siblings. Linda graduated from James Campbell High School located in Ewa Beach Oahu Hawaii. Linda not only lived in Hawaii , she also lived in Guam . Linda was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Fairfield California for over 32 years. She served her Lord at Temple Baptist Church by teaching children’s Sunday School Classes, Awanas and Vacation Bible School. Linda also served in the nursey at Temple Baptist church. When Linda moved to Sacramento she continued to attended Temple Baptist Church until she found a new church family in Sacramento. She became a member of Madison Ave Baptist Church. She remained a member until her passing. Linda had a few part time jobs over the years which include selling Home Interiors and she was a portrait secretary of Olan Mills Portrait studios in Fairfield Ca. But most of all she loved serving her Lord and taking care of her family. Linda loved being a wife and mother. At this time there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be in the near future.
